Where's The Ribs?
I recently went to an area wide Bar-B-Que Cookoff in downtown Frisco, Colorado. Frisco is a beautiful little town off I-70 between Vail and Denver. I was blessed to be with my friends from Oklahoma. All was well except I couldn't find any ribs. The excitement of the crowd of people and their pets was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and the western theme was comforting to a West Texas girl. Glenwood Canyon
While working near Rifle, Colorado this year, I had the privalege on many occasions of driving through the beautiful Glenwood Canyon. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant with the most wonderful view of ocean. It was inside, but open air. The breakfast menu ranges from $5.00 to $11.00 which isn't any worse than what we normally see in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. But, how often do you think we see wha ... Read More

Best Restaurant in Pine, Arizona
If you ever get the chance to drive Highway 87 through northern Arizona, you'll probably come across a little town called Pine. Stop! They have the most wonderful restaurant called The Randall House. It originally was a house owned by the Randall family, who were pioneers to that part of the country, and Mrs. Randall loved to invited people to her house for meals. The restaurant now serves gourmet food in an area where old fashioned meat and potatoes is standard fare. I've really enjoyed my S ... Read More
