I recently went to an area wide Bar-B-Que Cookoff in downtown Frisco, Colorado. Frisco is a beautiful little town off I-70 between Vail and Denver. I was blessed to be with my friends from Oklahoma.
All was well except I couldn't find any ribs. The excitement of the crowd of people and their pets was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and the western theme was comforting to a West Texas girl. I caught the tail end of a pig race, unfortunately it really was the tail end.
I did find a Margarita that was really good and replaced my longing for the ribs. I also found a couple of really nice suede leather skirts that I'm excited about wearing this winter and two pair of earings that I've worn several times since the Bar-B-Que. Every time I wear the earings it reminds me of the wonderful time I had at the Bar-B-Que.
