Blog Entry: A few years ago while visiting Maine, I had my first Lobster Roll and really enjoyed it. So...while visiting Boston this week, I decided to find another Lobster Roll. Little did I know that saying you want a Lobster Roll is like saying you'd like a steak. [br] The Lobster Roll I had in Maine was obviously very fresh, made similar to a chicken salad with salad dressing and celery and served in a freshly baked bread that was made for the lobster salad. It was wonderful!!! [br] The Lobster Roll I had in Boston had large pieces of Lobster with a very small amount of Mayo and greens served in a large hot dog bun. From what I've read, I believe this is the way Bostonians like their Lobster Rolls. This particular Lobster Roll was served cold, but I've heard there is also a hot lobster roll. Although, this Lobster Roll was good, the one I had in Maine is still my all time favorite. Since I'll be in Bar Harbor on Sunday, I'm going to try to find another Lobster Roll similar to the one I had the first time.
