Title: Food or Travel?

Blog Entry: As much as I love to travel, I've begun to wonder how much longer I'll be able enjoy leisure travel. It seems that our government is intent on driving our economy into the ditch and leaving us all scrambling for the basic necessities of life. [br] Going hungry isn't my idea of a good time, so I decided to try gardening this past summer. Since we have so many rabbits in our neighborhood everything had to either be in pots and elevated or have rabbit wire around it. The peppers did well in pots, but I didn't get much of a harvest from my tomato plants. I found out that squash bugs can completely destroy your squash overnight, grasshoppers do a lot of damage, drought causes problems, and excessive heat with rain causes tomatoes to split. It's obvious to me that my family would starve if they had to depend on my gardening skills!!! [br] This past Friday I received an email from a friend with a link to some information that may give us a more reliable solution to our food problem. You can see what I found at http://jcruse.myefoods.com . [br] Naturally I wanted to make sure we could actually eat the food offered so…I got a couple of samples. We tried the beef stroganoff this afternoon. All of the food is vegetarian which means the stroganoff looks different because there isn't any meat in it, but it tasted pretty good. My husband went back for seconds so…it must have passed his taste test!
