Title: Time To Go Leaf Looking!

Blog Entry: One of the things I love about living in northeast Oklahoma is the closeness of Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri. We love taking day trips and having other states close gives us pleanty of varity. Week before last, my husband, sister, and I decided to go leaf looking. When we got into the car we didn't have a destination in mind, but it didn't take long for us to decide to make a trip from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area to Eurica Springs, Arkansas. We knew we were still a couple of weeks away from good color in Oklahoma and figured Arkansas would be a better choice. We certainly were not disappointed! Although the color was not at its peak it was further along than our area. I'm looking forward to going on at least one more leaf looking trip and the Talimena Scenic Drive might be a great place for the next trip!
